Lizzie for president by Alice Alfonsi

I have read a book named "Lizzie for president" and I would like to share with you the story of the book in a few lines. The author is Alice Alfonsi who is a popular writer of novels. Lizzie has the main character as you could see on the cover of the book. Her best friends Gordo and Miranda will help her during the whole story. In

the first part, we learn that in her hillridge junior high school, there are elections going on and as usual the candidates are snobbish popular persons. So, Lizzie and her friends decide to react and one of them will present themself, but no one is couragous to do it. Gordo and Miranda suggest Lizzie to do it pretending that she's more adapted and she has some chances to win so she finally accepts and starts the campaign. Her friends are really supportive in the begining, but as the time passes she gets more confidence, and it renders her snobbish. She starts to order her friends, and so they disgust her and get rid of her slowly.

But in the second part, you can see a big twist because of the contest coming up, and the 3 friends are so excited and are sure to beat the snobbish candidates and win the journey to Miami. So, they immediately begin studying 4 hours a day, and it turns out to be a lot of fun. The contest is on and the suspense is who will win it?

I really suggest you to read this book as it's funny and easy to read. It's so exciting and doesn't take much time to finish it.
